My wrist didn't come out exactly how I imagined, due to the fact that Sam told me to make sure I wash my tattoo because I work with children. She's pretty good at doing watercolor tattoos. Just got two tattoos done by Samantha Weeks. And if you don't believe me, scroll down and click on the few comments that yelp didn't put through. There are plenty of good tattoo artists who treat their customers with respect. Not only will I never recommend them to anyone, but I'll actually convince people to go to other places. I had actually sent a few people to serenity ink to get some tattoos, but I have stopped.
She literally said that the only part she liked, were the clouds above my Whale. Jason obviously didn't know of our exchange, so he had her look at it. Unfortunately for me, Sam happened to be there during this time and of course she wasn't friendly at all. Jason is very friendly and he's pretty good. I decided to get a tattoo from him because he was a good price point and I liked his unique watercolor cartoon style.

Update 2016: Since this experience they have gained a new artist named Jason. It's unfortunate that she's so good at what she does, because her attitude and personality leave a lot to be desired. Excuse me? You're the one who wants to fill a spot so that you can make money and my Facebook comment was pretty friendly! She's quite arrogant and after that exchange, I vowed to never get a tattoo from her again. She then proceeded to send me a RUDE private message about how I will never ask her to check her email again. I replied to her Facebook post asking her if she received my email because I was ready to take that spot. Hadn't heard back from her at all, but then she posted on her Facebook that she had an opening if anyone was ready to get inked. I already had an idea in mind, which I then emailed Sam about. But aside from that, since my back tattoo turned out great, I wanted to get another watercolor tattoo from her. I basically ended up wasting money and had to get a cover up after the fact. She had me paranoid that my tattoo would be infected due to the fact that I work with toddlers. I should have listened to my gut instead of following her care instructions.
The artist is talented but got carried away with the shader, leaving me with a lot of extra time, work, and cost to get what I originally was designed. All I can say is to be VERY CLEAR and constantly check about the shading you're getting. After 3 months of trying to live with it, I'm now unfortunately looking at getting the shading removed. This affected the overall image of what I wanted and was originally drawn. While the original sketch/stencil was clean and mostly line work, most of the space outside those lines is now darkly colored in. The outlines were similar so I didn't notice exactly what was different until it started healing, but there was so much shading on my actual tattoo that I realized I received the inverse image of the original design. The initial drawing and stencil was exactly what I wanted and beautifully done, but the final tattoo was disappointing. I got a tattoo at Serenity Ink about 3 months ago and was hoping that in that time it would fade and settle in differently than it originally looked.
