The deeper one journeys into Torghast, the closer one also gets to the Jailer himself. The tower's interior defies all traditional logic: its corridors are vast and seemingly endless, to the point where one could spend an eternity wandering them, and they are constantly shifting and changing according to the will of the Jailer. Each floor that rises into the endless abyss is crueler than the last to climb Torghast is to ascend deeper into despair. It is a place devoid of all hope or redemption. Like the Maw itself, the power of Domination is woven into Torghast's very fabric, and the Jailer's malevolence permeates everything within it. It serves as an eternal prison for the most dangerous souls in the cosmos and is one of the most dangerous towers in all of existence. I recommend running this tool to hopefully clear out the errors I’m seeing in your MSInfo and then see if that helps with the issue at hand.Torghast is the seat of power for the Jailer, the ruler of the Maw. Microsoft has supplied a System File Checker tool at that will act similar like the Scan and Repair that our games use.

Sometimes the Windows operating system can have some severe issue where it’s corrupted or recent updates applied have created problems. If you already have an administrative account on the computer, try a new admin account as this can help. This will not affect the other accounts, but on the new admin account it will reset registries, settings, permissions and much more. A New Admin account can help reset a ton of Windows features on the new profile that’s created.Uncheck Load Startup Items (keep other options with a checkbox)Ĭlick/keep checkmark in Hide all Microsoft Services (at the bottom, under scroll area) Under General (first tab), check Selective Startup

You’ll want to restart your system in Selective Startup mode to knock those out and free your system to run like you want it to.

Shout out to Tech Specialist Rainmithwen who assisted me with this. My system file checker found some errors and was able to correct them so I’m thinking that was possibly the issue. Posting the response here in the hopes it will help somebody else out. I opened a ticket for this, the rep that got back to me was very helpful, and as of right now it seems to have resolved my issues. Odd that the problem doesn’t seem to be more widespread but at the moment it does seem to be that WoW just isn’t playing nice with SOMETHING.

I haven’t had a chance to try this yet (Only way I can reliably test the issue is to run Torghast to find this specific room so pretty time consuming). They managed to solve them by lowering particle density. I did manage to dig up a post from Beta with somebody having similar though not identical problems. I did try and repair WoW which failed, so I completely reinstalled. I initially thought this was a problem with my GPU, but running other more GPU intensive games such as Assassins Creed Valhalla and Horizon Zero Dawn, it sits at 99% GPU usage with zero problems. Watching HWInfo, my GPU usage is sitting around 95% as expected, everything running normal, then it just hits 100% and everything freezes, then when it comes back it sits at 95% again as it should. If I just angle my camera to have both the portal to the next floor in the frame and the flaming cages, just standing there doing nothing it will constantly freeze, unfreeze in 15-20 seconds, repeat. So doing some more testing this morning, I can very reliably get this problem to happen in the room with the vendor in Torghast, the little corridor one with the flaming cages.
